Paintless Dent Removal
Paintless Dent Removal is a technique used to remove minor dents and dings from vehicles without the use of Bondo, fillers, or painting. This process is clean, environmentally friendly, and costs a fraction of what a traditional auto body shop would charge. Because no chemicals or paints are used in the process, the work can be done in a VERY short time. Depending on the size and number of dents, the work can sometimes be completed while the customer waits! PDR was first developed on the Mercedes Benz factory lines in the late 1940's and then modified and introduced to the general market in the early 1980's. In the 1990's PDR became still more popular, and soon thereafter, better tools were developed to accommodate the increase in EPA/DPT regulations for side impact bracing in autos. |
